CITY CRUZE L.A.

Transportation Terms & Policies

Clear policies help keep every reservation organized, comfortable and ready for the road. Select a topic below to review the details that apply to your service.

01Booking & Trip Updates

Changes to pickup time, passenger count, luggage count, or vehicle type must be requested in advance.

Changes made within 24 hours of pickup are subject to availability and may result in price adjustments.

City Cruze L.A. reserves the right to assign a similar or upgraded vehicle when operational adjustments are required. Any substitute vehicle will have sufficient capacity for the confirmed reservation.

02Billing & Additional Charges

Full payment is required to confirm and secure a reservation unless otherwise agreed in writing or the reservation specifically provides for a deposit with the remaining balance due at a later date.

Additional charges resulting from extended wait time, additional stops, overtime, vehicle upgrades, passenger or luggage changes, or requested itinerary changes may be billed to the card on file.

By booking transportation and providing a payment method, the customer authorizes City Cruze L.A. to charge applicable amounts associated with the confirmed reservation and any additional services or charges incurred under these terms.

Payment disputes or chargebacks involving services properly rendered may be contested using reservation, communication, GPS, trip, payment, and other applicable documentation.

03Airport Pickups & Drop-Offs

Airport pickups are conducted at designated curbside or other authorized pickup areas in accordance with applicable airport regulations.

Passengers must follow the pickup instructions provided by City Cruze L.A. At LAX, passengers may be asked to provide their terminal and pillar number once they have collected their luggage and are ready for pickup.

City Cruze L.A. operates under applicable permits and follows airport staging and pickup requirements.

Drivers cannot remain indefinitely at airport curbs or other restricted pickup areas. Passengers should contact the driver when they are ready and follow the instructions provided for the designated pickup location.

04Airport Wait Times & Flight Monitoring

City Cruze L.A. monitors inbound flights and may adjust airport pickup timing based on the flight’s actual arrival.

Domestic U.S. arrivals include up to 45 minutes of complimentary wait time from the flight’s actual landing time.

International arrivals include up to 60 minutes of complimentary wait time from the flight’s actual landing time.

After the complimentary wait period expires, additional wait time is billed at $1 per minute, unless otherwise stated in the reservation.

Passengers should proceed toward the designated pickup location after collecting their luggage and completing any applicable arrival procedures.

If the passenger cannot be located or contacted after the applicable complimentary wait period, the reservation may be treated as a no-show and charged in full.

05Non-Airport Wait Times

Non-airport pickups include a 15-minute grace period unless otherwise stated in the reservation.

Additional waiting beyond the complimentary 15 minutes is billed at $1 per minute.

Customers should notify City Cruze L.A. as soon as possible if they expect to be delayed.

06Passenger & Luggage Capacity

Accurate passenger and luggage counts must be provided when booking.

Vehicle recommendations and assignments are based on the passenger and luggage information supplied by the customer.

If the actual number of passengers or amount of luggage exceeds the capacity of the reserved vehicle, an upgraded vehicle or additional vehicle may be required and billed accordingly, subject to availability.

For safety and insurance compliance, vehicles cannot exceed their permitted or manufacturer seating capacity.

Oversized luggage, mobility equipment, strollers, unusually large items, or unusually heavy luggage should be disclosed before the trip so the appropriate vehicle can be assigned.

Passengers may be asked to assist with unusually heavy items when reasonably necessary for safe handling.

City Cruze L.A. is not responsible for damage resulting from improperly packed luggage or personal property.

07Child Safety Seats

Child safety seats and booster seats are available upon request and must be reserved in advance.

Passengers are responsible for providing accurate age and weight information for children requiring safety seats so an appropriate seat can be provided.

If City Cruze L.A. provides a child safety seat, it will be installed to the best of our ability; however, the parent or legal guardian is ultimately responsible for verifying proper installation and ensuring that the child is properly secured before departure.

If passengers bring their own child safety seat, they are responsible for properly installing and securing it. Drivers are not responsible for installation of customer-provided child safety seats.

Children requiring a safety seat under applicable California law must be properly secured before the vehicle departs.

Failure to request required child safety seats in advance may result in delays, a required vehicle adjustment, or inability to begin transportation until the child can be transported safely and legally.

08Passenger Behavior & Safety

Passengers are expected to behave respectfully and lawfully at all times.

Disruptive behavior, excessive intoxication, illegal drug use, smoking or vaping inside the vehicle, threats, harassment, violence, or conduct that interferes with the safe operation of the vehicle will not be tolerated.

The driver may refuse to begin or may terminate transportation if passenger behavior compromises safety, violates the law, threatens the driver or other passengers, or risks significant damage to the vehicle.

A trip terminated because of serious passenger misconduct or unsafe behavior may not be eligible for a refund.

Passengers are responsible for damage they cause to the vehicle.

Seat belts must be worn as required by applicable law while the vehicle is in motion.

09Smoking & Vaping

Smoking, vaping, or use of tobacco or cannabis products is strictly prohibited inside City Cruze L.A. vehicles.

If smoking or vaping occurs and results in odors, residue, burns, or contamination requiring additional cleaning or restoration, a cleaning fee of $150 or more may be charged depending on the extent of the cleaning or damage required.

City Cruze L.A. maintains clean, fresh, and comfortable vehicles for its passengers and asks all guests to respect this policy.

Use or consumption of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited in City Cruze L.A. vehicles.

Alcohol consumption inside the vehicle is not permitted unless explicitly authorized by City Cruze L.A. in advance and permitted under applicable law.

Passengers who appear excessively intoxicated or engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may be refused service or have transportation terminated for the safety of the driver and passengers.

Transportation terminated because of serious unsafe or unlawful passenger behavior may not be eligible for a refund.

Cleaning, damage, or additional service required as a result of alcohol or drug-related passenger conduct may result in additional charges.

11Cleaning Fees

City Cruze L.A. takes pride in providing clean, comfortable, and well-maintained vehicles.

If excessive cleaning is required because of spills, food waste, bodily fluids, excessive dirt, or other conditions caused during the reservation, a cleaning fee may be charged.

Cleaning fees typically range from $75 to $250, depending on the severity and type of cleaning required.

These fees may cover cleaning labor, materials, professional detailing, odor treatment, and other reasonable costs necessary to return the vehicle to normal service.

Smoking-related cleaning is subject to the separate Smoking & Vaping policy and may result in a charge of $150 or more.

Damage requiring repair or replacement is separate from cleaning charges.

12Vehicle Damage

Passengers are responsible for damage they cause to a City Cruze L.A. vehicle during their reservation.

This includes, but is not limited to, damage to seats, upholstery, interior panels, windows, flooring, doors, trim, fixtures, or equipment inside the vehicle.

When passenger-caused damage occurs, the reasonable actual cost of repair or replacement may be charged to the customer responsible for the reservation.

City Cruze L.A. may use photographs, video, repair estimates, receipts, trip records, and other documentation to substantiate damage charges when appropriate.

13Lost Items

City Cruze L.A. is not responsible for personal items left behind in a vehicle.

Although drivers make reasonable efforts to check vehicles after trips, passengers are responsible for ensuring that they take their belongings when exiting.

If an item is found, City Cruze L.A. will make reasonable efforts to coordinate its return.

A reasonable return or delivery fee may apply depending on the distance, time, parking, tolls, or other expenses required to return the item.

When available, items may alternatively be collected at a mutually agreed location.

Passengers are strongly encouraged to check for phones, wallets, passports, luggage, and other valuables before leaving the vehicle.

The client determines destinations, timing, stops, and schedule within the reserved hourly period.

While City Cruze L.A. may provide general destination or transportation suggestions when requested, the hourly charter service is transportation and should not be represented as a separately guided sightseeing tour, travel-agency service, or event-organizing service.

Reserved time begins at the scheduled pickup time and continues until final drop-off or the end of the reserved duration, as applicable to the reservation.

Stops, passenger wait time, and traffic conditions are included within and count toward the reserved hourly period.

Additional time beyond the reserved duration is billed in 30-minute increments at the applicable reservation rate.

15Photos & Video

City Cruze L.A. may occasionally capture photos or short videos in connection with transportation services for marketing, promotional, or social-media purposes.
